The Arts and Crafts movement began in the British Isles and spread to Europe and North America between 1880 and 1920. It arose as a response to the decline of decorative arts and poor manufacturing conditions, focusing on handmade goods. Notable designers include William Morris and Philip Webb, who founded Morris & Co.

Used antique condition. No sign of repair or restoration. Usual dints, dents and signs of use typical of a functional antique copper pitcher of this age. This item has not been tested over time as being watertight so I advise that it is used for display purposes only or for exterior use. Authentic original antique or vintage used condition.
