I have been an independent dealer in antiques and vintage since 2017. Antiques Central is the result of a lifelong interest in well-made objects that have stood the test of time.

My Approach to Sourcing

I focus on sourcing across Birmingham and the Central England region. I look for pieces that show:

  • Strong Design: Items with original character and quality craftsmanship.

  • Authenticity: I seek pieces that remain untouched and unaltered, valued for what they are rather than being over-restored.

  • Hidden Gems: Much of my time is spent in places others overlook—from dusty barns and forgotten storerooms to pop-up auctions.

Buying, Selling & Shipping

At Antiques Central, I buy and sell small antiques and vintage items. If you are considering selling an item, please contact me via the enquiry form and we can discuss your options.

Buying Policy

  • I deal exclusively within the UK mainland and do not buy or sell internationally.

  • I do not purchase glass or ceramics due to the risks involved in safe shipping.

  • I do not buy items sight unseen and do not offer valuation or appraisal services.

  • I do not purchase large furniture or undertake full house clearances.

  • I may, by appointment, make house calls within the West Midlands region.

Please do not send unsolicited items to Antiques Central.

Enquiries

I receive a high volume of enquiries and aim to give each one proper attention. If an item falls outside my areas of interest, I may not always be able to respond, but I do appreciate you taking the time to get in touch.

Shipping

All published prices include postage to UK mainland addresses.

  • Smaller items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, signed for

  • Larger items are sent via Parcelforce 48

There are no hidden postage costs — the price you see is the price you pay.

Packaging

As part of Antiques Central’s green policy, recycled boxes and packaging materials are used for all orders.
